| Ohio Wins Battle of Interstate Games |
| 9/1/2006 - by NKS Editor |
The Ohio teams went 3-0 Friday evening as Elder defeated Highlands 21-18, Indian Hill crushed Bellevue 42-0, and Lebanon won over Campbell County 24-14. Highlands actually had the best chance to win as they held a brief 10-7 lead over Elder in the 3rd Quarter, but a couple Highland's fumbles proved costly.
One of the biggest surprises of the night came out of Union, KY as Ryle beat NewCath 32-20. This game was not as close as the score might show though. Ryle held a 26-0 lead in the 3rd Quarter and never looked back.
