The Russell Athletic/KHSAA Commonwealth Gridiron Bowl begins this Friday as the NKY teams prepare their march to the State Championship. In Class 1A, Beechwood is looking to make another run but will they be stopped by Mayfield again this year? Can NCC repeat from last year's 2A Championship? For Class 4A, can Highlands win their 7th straight Championship? In Class 5A, who's poised to make a playoff run - Conner, Scott or Cooper? And in 6A, how far can the undefeated Simon Kenton Pioneers go? And can Dixie make a run?
