| NewCath Moves on to Second Round of All A Classic |

The Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds defeated Fairview 75-65 to move on to the second round of the All "A" Classic. The 'Breds lead throughout the entire game and all 5 starters scored in double-digits. Fairview was able to cut the lead down to 4 early in the 4th quarter but the 'Breds held on.
NewCath moves on to play Mayfield (whom they defeated in the State Football Championship this past year) on Friday at 6:30. Mayfield (13-6) defeated South Floyd in their first round match-up.
