The Holy Cross Lady Indians are off to a wonderful start this season by taking the Championship in the 2012 Dixie Heights Colonels' Classic. The Lady Indians beat the St. Henry Lady Crusaders and the Dayton Green Devils in the first two rounds of play, and faced the Holmes' Lady Bulldogs to claim championship. The team was lead by seniors' DeAsia Beal and Hannah Tupman.
Last evening they played the Newport Lady Wildcats and were victorious with a score of 50 to 31.
The team is currently 4-0 on the season and wiill face the Boone County Lady Rebels on Wednesday.
