Top ranked Covington Catholic (15-1) defeated Boone County (14-3) 12-0 in 5 innings yesterday to remain Northern Kentucky's top High School Baseball team. The Colonels only loss of the season was to Ryle (11-5) on April 6 when the Raiders beat CovCath 4-2.
Last night, Holy Cross (12-3) beat Newport Central Catholic (10-7) 2-0 to win the 9th Region All A Classic at Florence Freedom Center. The Indians advance to the All A State Tournament along with Brossart, winner's of the 10th Region, and Walton-Verona, winners of the 8th Region All A Classic.
