CHAMPIONSHIP ALERT!
Highlands defeats Christian County 50-0 to win the 2010 Class 5A Football Championship. This is the Bluebirds 4th straight State Title and 20th overall.
The Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds (2A) and Highlands Bluebirds (5A) return to State again with easy wins this past weekend. NewCath defeated Corbin 42-8 while Highlands beat Harlan County 34-6 to advance to the Kentucky State Football Championships.
Owensboro Catholic vs NewCath Webcast
NewCath will face Owensboro Catholic for the 2A Championship on December 3 at 3:00 P.M. at Western Kentucky's Houchens-L.T. Smith Stadium. Owensboro Catholic defeated Danville 61-42 to advance and owns a record of 13-1.
Christian County vs Highlands Webcast
Highlands (13-1) will play Christian County for the 5A Championship on December 4 at 3:00 P.M. Christian County defeated John Hardin 45-20 to advance and holds a record of 13-1.
