Week one is in the books for NKY football as we head into week two. This week offers up some very good match-ups once again.
CovCath @ NewCath - Last week NewCath had a big 2nd quarter (25 pts) en route to a 37-15 win over Simon Kenton in the Newport Bowl. On the flip side, CovCath lost to Cardinal Mooney 57-0. Can CovCath bounce back against a NewCath team that defeated the Colonels last year 9-0?
Simon Kenton @ Dixie - Both teams are coming off week one losses. Dixie lost their first week game to Beechwood 29-6. Dixie has won the last three years against the Pioneers.
Holmes @ Holy Cross - Holmes won big over Dayton last week 25-6 while Holy Cross lost in a shoot out 49-35 to South Laurel. Last year Holmes defeated the Indians 33-14 but look for this game to be a little closer this year.
