Covington Catholic won four games in two days to win this year's Doc Morris Tournament with a 15-2 win over Boone County in the Championship game at Champion Window Field in Florence, KY.
Sixteen teams participated in the one-and-out tournament and the four teams to win two games on Saturday were CovCath, NewCath, Boone County and McNicholas. CovCath defeated NewCath 6-1 early on Sunday while Boone County defeated McNicholas, which setup the Championship game played later on Sunday.
Other teams in the tournament: Newport, Simon Kenton, Holmes, Amelia, Dixie, Holy Cross, Conner, Ryle, Ludlow, Lloyd, Highlands and Scott.
