NKYSports.com HS Football Game of the Week
The NKYSports.com Game of the Week webcast features Highlands (8-0) at Scott (2-6). This game will be played on Scott's new field. Last week Highlands defeated CovCath 27-20 while Scott lost to Holmes 47-16. The Highlands vs Scott Broadcast will begin at 7:00 P.M.
Newport at Holy Cross
Newport (5-3) will play at Holy Cross (3-5) in a game that will decide the number two seed in their District. This looks to be a high scoring game as both offenses have put up some big numbers this year. Last week Holy Cross won 50-6 over Lloyd while Newport beat Fleming County 45-0. Holy Cross has won the past 3 games against the Wildcats but look for Newport to have a very good shot at winning this year.
Dixie at Covington Catholic
This is another important District game, which will also determine the number two seed in their District and home field advantage for a first round game. CovCath (4-4) lost last week to Highlands 27-20 but played very well against the Bluebirds. Dixie (4-4) should be well rested just coming off a bye. CovCath won this game last year 39-34 and has won 5 of the last 6 games against Dixie.

Week 9 Players of the Game - Cooper vs Campbell County
During each broadcast, NKYSports.com will select a Player of the Game from each NKY team and donate $25.00 to the team's athletic fund in the player's name. In last week's Cooper vs Campbell County Game of the Week, Dvontae Bradley of Cooper and Joe Sauerbeck of Campbell County were selected Player's of the Game.
Sauerbeck led the Camels defense with 7 solo tackles and 7 assisted tackles. Bradley led the Jaguars offense with 29 carries for 184 yards and 3 touchdowns.
