| Highlands Avoids Upset from Bryan Station |

The Highlands Bluebirds are used to first round playoff blowouts against their opponents but that scenario did not occur last night. In a game that was close the entire time, the Bluebirds found themselves down by one 22-21 with 3:23 left to play. Tony Guidugli engineered a 74-yard game winning drive capped off with a 22-yard touchdown pass to Austin Collinsworth with 19 seconds remaining to defeat Bryan Station 28-22.
Next week, Highlands will play Ashland Blazer who defeated Dixie Heights 35-24.
